Controller-Manufacturing

Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is currently seeking a skilled Controller to join a leading technology-enabled supply chain and manufacturing operations organization. This role is based 100% onsite in Fremont, CA. The Controller will oversee accounting operations and financial reporting, working closely with the CFO, operations, FP&A, and executive leadership in a dynamic and fast-growing environment. This position is perfect for a hands-on financial leader with a passion for developing scalable accounting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all core accounting functions, including general ledger, cost accounting, revenue recognition, inventory, fixed assets, AP/AR, and month-end close.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of U.S. GAAP financial statements and management reporting.
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies, and standardized procedures.
  • Lead annual audits and manage relationships with external auditors.
  • Partner with FP&A and operations to support budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, and margin improvement.
  • Drive ERP optimization, reporting enhancements, and accounting process automation.
  • Support treasury activities, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing accounting team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA strongly preferred.
  • 8-12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and multi-site manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics environments.
  • Strong technical expertise in U.S. GAAP, cost accounting, internal controls, and audit management.
  • Hands-on ERP experience; advanced Excel skills and familiarity with BI/reporting tools.
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Compensation

$240,000-$290,000 annually
